Turn Two
The Stormtroopers on the hill get in position
The Inquisitorial Stormtroopers on the hill (Squad Beta) moved into firing positions, while Squad Alpha advanced in their Rhino. On the other flank, the Imperial Guard squad deployed from their Chimera transport and the Chimera then moved forward to gun down the vulnerable Vespid.
The guardsmen were out of range because they had just deployed, but the multi-laser and heavy bolter of the Chimera cut down the Vespid out in the open. The remaining Sentinel could do nothing, as it had no working weapons.

On the other flank, Inquisitorial Stormtroopers Squad Alpha jumped out of their Rhino transport and let rip with their melta guns at the Tau Devilfish with the Fire Warriors still inside. The Rhino fired its smoke launchers to try to conceal itself from return fire. Unfortunately for the Stormtroopers, their melta guns failed to hit and they just got a hail of Burst Cannon fire in return, which decimated the squad.

The Fire Warriors also deployed from their transport and killed some more Stormtroopers. However, they underestimated their elite foes. The Stormtroopers' morale held firm and the Veteran Sergeant led the charge into the Fire Warriors, slaying several with his sword and bolt pistol.

Lucky Duke earns a medal!
The most incredible thing happened next. Mike was wondering if there was anything he could do with a weapon-less Sentinel, when Matthew jokingly suggested that it could close assault the Devilfish... Well, Mike had nothing to lose, and so the Sentinel charged into the side of the Devilfish. I think you know what's going to happen next... The odds were very slim, but Mike threw two sixes and the Sentinel not only hit but destroyed the Devilfish outright. We guess it must have head-butted the vehicle in some sensitive part!
